Peebles Community Hub Opening
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Peebles Community Hub on its successful opening, which was attended by over 200 people; understands that the community hub replaces the Ex-Servicemen’s Club, which closed in August 2018 due to financial difficulties; notes that Peebles Community Trust stepped in to manage the building after the closure and that the local Men’s Shed has taken up residence in the community hub, and thanks the Peebles Community Trust for its hard work in supporting the people and amenities of Peebles.
