Dunbar Grammar School Pupils Supporting the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the pupils of Dunbar Grammar School on raising over £1,100 for the MND research charity that has been set up by Doddie Weir, the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation; notes that they achieved this through bake sales, a dress-down day and donations from a school of rugby evening; understands that Doddie visited the school to deliver a special assembly after being invited by S1 student, Holly Berry-Shotton, who is a member of the school’s charity committee; recognises the hard work that the pupils put into raising the money, and wishes the foundation all the best with its research into MND.
