Tweed Forum Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Borders-based Tweed Forum, on receiving nearly £2,000 in online donations from anglers; understands that the charity, which was founded in 1991, is involved with the management of, land, water and cultural sites along the River Tweed and its tributaries; notes that the money was donated through the booking agent and fishing information website, FishPal, and acknowledges that the funds will contribute to forum’s ongoing projects of habitat restoration, water quality improvement, invasive species control, natural flood management, fish spawning and nursery streams improvement.
