Golden Friendships Clydebank
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Golden Friendships Club in Clydebank on a successful application to the Robertson Trust; understands that the charity received an award of £15,000, which will help to support its activities aimed at tackling loneliness and social isolation in the community; notes that up to 500 people attend Golden Friendships events every week, including the popular “Grab-a-Granny” afternoons, and wishes everyone involved a successful fundraising event on 9 February 2019.
