Little Arts of Love for Mary's Meals
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Faifley Art Group on raising £3,800 for Mary’s Meals from its exhibition, Little Arts of Love, which was held at the Backdoor Gallery in Dalmuir Library and featured works by professional and amateur artists from the area, including Josephine Torrance; applauds Josephine for working tirelessly throughout the year visiting schools and community groups to promote the charity; acknowledges that she was integral to the organisation of the exhibition, and notes that the money raised has been matched by the government, bringing the total raised to £7,600.
