Lightburn Elderly Association Project Limited Receives £47,140 from the National Lottery Community Fund
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Lightburn Elderly Association Project Limited in the Rutherglen constituency on receiving £47,140 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the group will continue to run a leisure and learning service, which offers a wide range of classes to people aged 50 plus across south Lanarkshire, and further understands that an adult and education co-ordinator will develop the programme of health and wellbeing activities to build networks and friendships and reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness for local older people.
