Wendy Buchanan, Retiring from Leading the Clackmannanshire Choral Society
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Wendy Buchanan, who is from Sauchie, on her retirement from leading the Clackmannanshire Choral Society after 10 years and being appointed as honorary president of the group by its president, Viv Fairchild, who also presented her with a certificate in recognition of her service; recognises that the retired conductor, Sandy Sinclair, and his wife, Elizabeth, who is also a member of the society, were also present to offer their congratulations; notes that Wendy was also a member of Alloa Opera Society for many years; acknowledges that the society's spring 2019 concert takes place on 27 April at St Mungo's Parish Church in Alloa, and wishes Wendy, and all the society's members, the very best.
