Falkirk War Veteran, Jack Adamson, Turns 100
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Jack Adamson, who is from Falkirk, who recently celebrated his 100th birthday; understands that, among the many cards received by Jack, was one from the French Embassy, which, in 2018, presented him with the Légion d'honneur, which is the highest award that France bestows; acknowledges his service in the Second World War with the 1st Battalion of the Black Watch, including his participation in the Normandy beach landings, and wishes Jack all the best.
