Kyle Baker Shortlisted for Lantra Scotland’s Land-based and Aquaculture Learner of the Year Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kyle Baker, from Glenrothes, a modern apprentice in trees and timber with the Falkland Stewardship Trust through SRCU, on being shortlisted for Lantra Scotland’s Land-based and Aquaculture Learner of the Year Award; notes that the trainee is one of three finalists for the award and has thoroughly enjoyed his apprenticeship with the sector skills council for land-based, aquaculture and environmental conservation industries; understands that the awards play a vital role in promoting careers within the rural sector, celebrating the achievements of learners and highlighting the importance to employers of investing in skills; wishes Kyle the best of luck for the awards ceremony, and wishes him the best of luck for his future.
