Dundee Swimmers Raise Cash
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that the sixth annual Swimarathon, organised by the Rotary Club of Dundee, has raised over £16,000; understands that more than 200 swimmers took part in the event to raise money for local and national charities, with 20% being donated to the Rotary Club of Dundee Trust to be distributed to local charities and the International End Polio Now campaign; further understands that, over the last six years, this event has raised approximately £150,000, which has benefited dozens of charities, and thanks all those who took part and helped raise money.
