Charlene Londra's Successful Campaign for Specially-adapted Trollies
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Kirkcaldy mother, Charlene Londra, for campaigning tirelessly to get specially-adapted trollies at her local Aldi supermarket; understands that the trollies allow for disabled people who use a wheelchair to sit within the trolley, removing the need for a second person to be present to push both a trolley and the wheelchair; notes that several supermarkets in the Kirkcaldy area have this type of trolley available; recognises the difference that facilities such as this can make to the day-to-day lives of carers, and thanks Aldi for listening to the needs of its customers.
