Stonewall School Survey
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Highland Council on being named one of the best councils in the UK for celebrating difference in its schools and for tackling anti-LGBT bullying; notes that the UK-wide education equality index, compiled by Stonewall, has ranked The Highland Council at number eight; further notes that the Stonewall 2017 school report found that 45% of LGBT pupils are bullied at school, including 64% of trans students, and commends the ongoing work of Stonewall and The Highland Council in tackling these issues.
