Shetland Euroquiz Winners

That the Parliament congratulates the team of four P6 pupils from Aith Primary School on winning Shetland’s 2019 heat of the Scotland-wide Euroquiz; notes that the pupils will go on to represent Shetland in the national final held at the Parliament in May; further notes that pupils across Shetland had been studying hard for the quiz, which consisted of four rounds of questions on geography, language, culture, history and general knowledge of Europe; understands that the Aith team faced stiff competition from 10 schools, including Nesting Primary School in the final, which was won by a single point; applauds the efforts of all Shetland school teams and their display of knowledge, and looks forward to welcoming the winners to the Parliament.
