Glasgow Kelvin Group's National Lottery Community Fund Success
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates five groups based in the Glasgow Kelvin constituency that have secured a total of £45,485 from the Awards for All Scotland National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the Bangladesh Association Glasgow received £10,000, which it will use to hold a two-day language festival to celebrate International Mother Language Day, Gaydio Community Interest Company received £9,900 to deliver its radio skills training course to LGBT+ people, Triple Tap Tech received £8,800 to fund its first year’s rent, materials and equipment for demonstrations, The Children's Wood received £9,785 to deliver a calendar of outdoor activities for local children and parents in partnership with two local nurseries, and Finding Your Feet received £7,000 to pilot a peer-support service to help provide emotional and practical support to people affected by amputations or limb difference; welcomes the support offered through the National Lottery Community Fund to local organisations, and wishes all five of the projects continued success.
