Bearsden Festival Association
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Bearsden Festival Association on receiving £9,280 from the Awards for All Scotland Community Fund; understands that the money will be used to hold a large-scale community event from 10 to 19 May 2019, in partnership with the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival, to celebrate the impact of the arts on mental health and wellbeing, raise awareness, tackle stigma and connect people in the community; notes that the programme of performances will highlight the work of local and national arts organisations, and wishes everyone involved well for a successful event.
