New Collaboration Between Smokey Paws and the Royal Veterinary College
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the new collaboration between Smokey Paws and the Royal Veterinary College; notes that they will be working together to develop a Scotland-wide system for providing immediate first aid for animals caught up in fires, road traffic incidents, near drowning and other traumatic events; understands that the college will provide emergency first aid training for firefighters; acknowledges that Smokey Paws, which is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2015, has equipped 200 fire stations in Scotland with rescue kits, and wishes the Royal Veterinary College and Smokey Paws well in all their future endeavours.
