Interest Link Borders
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the charity, Interest Link Borders, on being shortlisted for the National Youth Work Awards 2019; understands that, every year, the Scottish Borders-based group supports 100 children and young people with learning disabilities; notes that it organises events and activities, such as camping trips and pottery classes, to help improve social skills and build friendships, and provides short breaks and social events for carers; acknowledges that it is dedicated to tackling social isolation and loneliness; thanks its staff and volunteers for their hard work and dedication, and wishes it all the best for the awards, which are to be presented in Glasgow on 13 March, and with its endeavours.
