Inverkip Beavers Help Village Tackle Dog Fouling
The motion
That the Parliament commends the 85th Inverkip Beavers for developing a practical plan to tackle the scourge of dog fouling in the village; recognises that around 30 children aged between five and eight, who attend Beavers, have been making dispensers from recycled bottles for dog waste bags that they plan to attach to lamp posts and fences around Inverkip in areas where dog fouling is common; understands that this project is part of the Beavers’ efforts to earn their Community Impact badge; considers that this is a great example of local groups taking an interest in, and actively working to better, their community; applauds the children and their group leaders for their sense of initiative, and believes that they are a credit to Inverclyde.
