£2 Million Award for the Torry Community Hub
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Torry Community Hub on being awarded £2 million from the Regeneration Capital Grant Fund for 2019-20; understands that it will use this to provide integrated services on a flexible basis in one place to help meet the community’s future needs and deliver early intervention; notes that this will include a community café for people to enjoy and socialise in; commends the organisers and volunteers at the hub, and congratulates the other projects that are receiving support from the £20.4 million fund, which assists initiatives that aim to help create jobs, refurbish old buildings, develop business space, support community facilities and services and benefit businesses and enterprises.
