Mighty Deerstalker Charity Trail Run
The motion
That the Parliament notes that the Mighty Deerstalker charity trail run is due to be held on 16 March 2019 at Traquair House; understands that the gruelling run’s participants will complete the course wearing tweed and will be expected to cross rivers, tackle a 1,824 feet ascent and navigate through dense woodland in order to raise money for Children with Cancer UK; acknowledges that the run has been organised by Rat Race Adventure Sports, which has already raised £1 million for Children with Cancer UK, with the aim of raising £2 million more in the next three years, and wishes the organisers and participants all the best for the run.
