The motion
That the Parliament commends the work of the digital technology charity, AbilityNet, which aims to change the lives of disabled people and people over 55 by helping them to use digital technology at work, at home and in education; understands that the charity’s friendly volunteers are all PVG-checked and can help with most major computer systems, laptops, tablet devices and smartphones, dealing with issues such as choosing equipment, helping with installation, diagnosing problems, assisting with updates, improving confidence and staying safe online, and thanks its volunteers and all involved with it for their efforts.
