Major Funding Boost for Lincluden and Lochside Communities
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes a funding award of £376,240 to the Lincluden Community Centre Management Committee from The National Lottery Community Fund; praises the management committee for its tireless work to secure this major funding boost and its work throughout the community; looks forward to the money being used to redevelop a local park in Lincluden, which will benefit the communities there and in Lochside; understands that the park will be used for events by Let's Get Lochside and Lincluden Sporty, which promote an active lifestyle, and hopes that this well benefit thousands of residents in the months and years to come.
