Aberdeen Action on Disability Receives £24,309 from the People's Health Trust
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges that the charity, Aberdeen Action on Disability, has been awarded £24,309 from the People’s Health Trust; understands that the funding will resource and strengthen the informal socialising that has begun among the adults using its services in Aberdeen; commends the aim of the new project to address social isolation by bringing people who share similar challenges together in a relaxed and safe environment, and wishes the charity the best for the future.
