Auchinleck Community Development Initiative Receives National Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Auchinleck Community Development Initiative (ACDI) on securing a grant of £133,801 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will be used to engage with isolated, lonely and disengaged residents of Auchinleck to encourage them to take part in community activities, and is expected to allow around 270 people and 30 volunteers to participate in activities over a three-year period; acknowledges the significant impact that isolation and loneliness can have on an individual’s mental health, and commends ACDI for its efforts to address this.
