Girlguiding Scotland Representation at World Scout Jamboree
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Amy Glen and Anna Drysdale on being selected, following a rigorous process, to represent Girlguiding Scotland at the World Scout Jamboree in North America in July 2019; notes that a key part of this experience is fundraising, and that the girls have held various events, including a coffee morning, tea parties, raffles and quiz nights; welcomes the opportunity that Amy and Anna will have to represent what it considers is Scotland’s leading charity for girls and young women; notes that the final push for fundraising is a fashion show with the help of Catwalkers of Ellon in Rothienorman Hall on 14 March; applauds the girls' enthusiasm, and hopes that they have a fantastic adventure and safe travels.
