Fernhill Seniors Club 50th Anniversary
The motion
That the Parliament acknowledges the 50th anniversary of the Fernhill Seniors Club; notes the valuable work that the group does for older people in Rutherglen and Cambuslang; acknowledges the importance of having inclusive and social spaces for people who are vulnerable to tackle isolation; applauds the hard work of May Caldwell and her fellow volunteers who co-ordinate the Fernhill group and ensure that its members have access to a setting that nurtures social cohesion, and congratulates the club on this milestone.
