National Lottery Success for Glencassels Community Development Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Glencassels Community Development Project (The Venny), which is based in Wishaw, on its recent £10,000 grant from the Awards for All Scotland programme; understands that the grant will be used to further improve the project’s community café and youth activity provision and strengthen relationships throughout the community; notes that The Venny has been at the heart of the community for over 30-years and runs youth clubs throughout the week for young people in the area, and wishes the project well in all its future endeavours.
