Success for West Lothian College Cookery Students
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian College Level 5 National Certificate Professional Cookery students, Leah Meichan, Katarzyna Korpal, Jack Cuddihy and Opaweena Pecthung who won Bronze Awards at the Scottish Culinary Championships in Glasgow on 13-14 March 2019; understands that the aim of these championships is to showcase the talents of young student chefs and students; notes that West Lothian College entered the Larder Knife Skills, Healthy Living and Street Food categories; recognises that all four students achieved the highest award in their categories, and acknowledges the commitment from the West Lothian College hospitality lecturers, Alex Sykakis, Audrey Buckley and Paul Devonshire, who supported their students in preparing for the competition and in their amazing achievement.
