Kier Construction Working with British Heart Foundation
The motion
That the Parliament commends the management and staff of Kier Construction, the Scottish head office of which is located in Stepps in the Coatbridge and Chryston constituency; notes that the team has raised over £6,500 in a 10-month period so far towards lifesaving research, and welcomes that, in four months, the company has trained 69 members of its team, which is 47% of its Scottish workforce, in CPR, a lifesaving skill that gives people the confidence to act when they witness a cardiac arrest, and will hep to improve survival rates.
