Annie Lord Recognised for Riverbank Nature Art Work in Almond Valley
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Annie Lord on the recent unveiling of her art work at Almondell and Calderwood Country Park; notes that her project depicts riverbank nature created from drinks cans, wet wipes and other river waste encased in resin, and seeks to bring awareness to the issue of litter and sewage in Scotland's rivers; recognises that the art work is the culmination of the work of the RiverRubbish Intiative delivered by the RiverLife Project team; thanks those involved in the project for their work in cleaning up Scotland's rivers, and welcomes continued environmental conservation efforts and awareness in the Almond Valley area.
