Aberdeen School Gardens Pilot Project

That the Parliament welcomes the Aberdeen School Gardens Pilot Project; notes that this pilot has been undertaken in collaboration between One Seed Forward and the University of Aberdeen; recognises that it was supported by Aberdeen City Council’s community food growing fund; commends the work done in Bramble Brae, Woodside and Tullos primary schools, which are all located in regeneration areas; celebrates the positive feedback from children and teachers, and is encouraged by the findings of the project report, which illustrate how effective such programmes might be nationwide.
