Balmedie Primary School Raises Over £15,000 for Comic Relief

The motion

That the Parliament commends Balmedie Primary School in Aberdeenshire on raising over £15,800 for 2019’s Comic Relief, with more money still to be collected; understands that Balmedie has been the highest fundraising school in the UK for Comic Relief since 2015; recognises that the fundraising activities this year included performing a flash mob routine at the Bon Accord Centre in Aberdeen, holding a treasure hunt for families around the village, having a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and holding a staff bake-off contest; applauds the efforts of pupils and staff at Balmedie, and wishes all involved well.
