Congratulations to West Lothian College Student Association
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian College Student Association on being named the College Student Association of the Year at the 2019 National Union of Students (NUS) Scotland Awards; notes that these awards, which celebrate the important work carried out by student associations, officers and staff across Scotland, have taken place for the last eight years; recognises that West Lothian College Student Association has put a new staff structure in place in the last year and has completed a full evaluation of its Class Ambassador system, which collects and implements feedback from all its students; congratulates the association on its excellent work on the health and wellbeing needs of its students, which has seen the creation of welfare packs, free soup and a roll for all students and discounted breakfast provision, and that work is underway to deliver a new health and wellbeing policy, and wishes the association continued success with its endeavours to support all students at West Lothian College.
