St Kentigern’s Pupils Celebrate Competition Win
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates S2 pupils from St Kentigern’s Academy in Blackburn following their recent win at the Women in Data Science event in Edinburgh; understands that the pupils beat over 200 applicants in 65 teams from 23 local authority areas across Scotland; acknowledges that the event was aimed at bringing women data scientists together, in addition to showcasing a career in the sector; further congratulates the girls on their fantastic achievement, and wishes them well for what it considers will be a very promising future.
