Olympic Gold for East Kilbride's Ruairidh Brown
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ruairidh Brown from East Kilbride, who at 20, and in his 12th year of competitive cycling, has won Gold in the 10km TT at the 2019 Special Olympic Games in Abu Dhabi; notes that, over the years, Ruairidh has excelled in his sport and has earned much admiration and applause, as well as many medals; acknowledges that he now helps to coach others with a talent in cycling; believes that Ruairidh has more to achieve in addition to his Olympic success, and wishes him all the best in his endeavours.
