Bishopbriggs School's Success in Top Science Contest
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Turnbull High School in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire, on being named one of just 12 winners out of 143 entries from across Europe that took part in STEM Alliance’s international Diversity in STEM competition; notes that the competition had a focus on gender equality and access for all and that the school's STEM Career Workshops were judged to be excellent in giving pupils of all abilities an introduction to STEM subjects in a fun, hands-on way while learning about jobs and pathways into the industry, and commends the school for its amazing achievement against international competition.
