The motion

That the Parliament congratulates seven-year-old Logan Keenan, who is a P3 pupil from St Michael’s Primary in Port Glasgow on being named the winner of the first Make It Happen app competition, which has been organised by the investment bank, JP Morgan; notes that Logan has created, Port Français, which is an interactive learning tool that helps French language learners at the touch of a button on their mobile and tablet devices; recognises that Logan came up with the idea and that the Make It Happen team worked with him to bring it to life; understands that the app is now available from the Apple Store online and has already been downloaded by people across the UK and worldwide, including in the United States, China, Spain, Slovakia and Ireland, and believes that Logan is a credit to his school and that, by showing that they can do whatever they put their minds to, he is a role model for other children.
