Inverurie Business Wins at Scottish Rural Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Westfield Farms, which is a family-run enterprise that owns The Green Grocer in Inverurie, as well as Ola Oils and Westfield Spelt, on winning the Business Diversification Award at the 2019 Scottish Rural Awards on 21 March; notes its dedication to creating innovative and nutritious produce from its own 2,500-acre arable farm and other local suppliers, as well as producing seasonal fruit and vegetables and deli products; understands that the farm was praised for its "diversification, uniqueness and continual reinvestment that has kept this family business at the forefront of farming in the north east of Scotland’, and wishes it continued success in the future.
