Eva McKellar, Age Scotland Award-winner
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Eva McKellar, chair of Age Concern Vale of Leven, on winning the Age Scotland 2019 Volunteer of the Year Award; notes that this award, received at the Age Scotland National Conference and Awards Ceremony on 20 March 2019, recognises an individual who continually goes the extra mile and demonstrates unwavering commitment to supporting the interests of older people; notes that Eva has, for several years, given freely of her time to support older people in her community to live life to the full, including by securing and maintaining a holiday caravan for members of the group to enjoy low-cost breaks, and sends Eva and her fellow volunteers at Age Concern Vale of Leven its warmest wishes.
