National Theatre of Scotland and National Autistic Society Collaborate
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the collaborative work between the National Autistic Society Scotland (NAS) and the National Theatre of Scotland (NTS) to make its 2019 programme of performances autism-friendly; understands that NAS has provided a dedicated autism awareness training staff team to ensure that autistic people and their families attending NTS performances feel at ease; notes the announcement of work placements with NTS for participants in its CashBack for Communities Moving Forward employment project; commends both organisations on their efforts to make live performance accessible for all, and wishes them and their work placement employees continued success.
