Holly Wilkins from Glenrothes Given World-class Training
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Holly Wilkins, who is from Glenrothes, on being given the opportunity to train at a world-class hotel school, École hôtelière de Lausanne, thanks to a prestigious scholarship; understands that Holly, who is a HNC Hospitality student at Fife College, travelled to Switzerland thanks to a Hospitality Industry and Tourism (HIT) Scotland scholarship award that the college had applied for; believes that the Swiss hospitality school is regarded as the best in the world and offers management programmes to students across the globe; acknowledges that HIT Scotland funded the all-expenses trip, which saw Holly take part in a two-day programme that covered all aspects of the hospitality industry, using a blend of presentations and hands-on practical experience, and wishes Holly the best of luck with her studies and her endeavours.
