Scottish SPCA Success in West Dunbartonshire in 2018
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Scottish SPCA on all the vital work that it carried out in 2018, both in West Dunbartonshire and across Scotland; celebrates the staff of the Scottish SPCA who dedicate their time and work tirelessly to rescue, rehome, rehabilitate and release animals across Scotland; particularly celebrates the fantastic work that the Scottish SPCA has carried out in West Dunbartonshire; notes that, in 2018, Scottish SPCA staff in West Dunbartonshire rehomed 575 animals, reunited 93 pets with their owners, had 5,906 local children take part in their free education programme and have 896 local members; thanks the Scottish SPCA for all its hard work year-in and year-out, and wishes it all the best for the future as it continues to improve animal welfare and educate others on the important work that it carries out.
