Emma McCabe, British Schools Judo Champion
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Emma McCabe, of Titan Judo Club in Clydebank, on becoming the British Schools Judo Champion; understands that the British Schools Championships have stringent entry requirements and that Emma triumphed in a highly competitive field in the 40kg category at the event held at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield; notes that she won all of her matches by ippon, which is the highest score that a fighter can achieve in Japanese martial arts; notes that she also holds the title of Scottish National Champion in the same category; commends Emma on her hard work and dedication, and wishes her further success in the future.
