Clydebank Judoka, Sophie McNeill
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Sophie McNeill, from Clydebank, on winning a silver medal in the 48kg category at the British National Championships, which took place at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield; understands that Sophie, who is a member of Titan Judo Club, also holds the title of Scottish Champion in the same category and is a member of Judo Scotland’s Talent Development Squad for young judoka who show great potential; recognises the hard work and dedication necessary to reach this level of achievement, and wishes Sophie further success in the future.
