Sweeney’s Cruises Wins Top Award
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that Sweeney’s Cruises, based in Balloch, was named Best Outdoor/Adventure Experience at the Scottish Thistle Awards National Final on 14 March 2019; commends the owners, John and Catherine Sweeney, for running a successful family business on the stunning Loch Lomond for many generations; encourages both locals and tourists to take a cruise when they are visiting the area; applauds the employees of Sweeney’s Cruises for their dedication and effort over the years, and wishes them every success in the future.
