Smith Anderson
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Smith Anderson, in Kirkcaldy, on securing a £50 million deal with McDonald’s and Burger King; notes that the business plans to create between 25 and 30 jobs to facilitate the contract; understands that the 160-year-old company is one of the largest paper bag manufacturers in the UK; recognises the importance of strong businesses to local economies, and wishes the company further success in the future.
