New Home for Pillar Kincardine
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that Pillar Kincardine, based in Stonehaven, has found a new permanent home; understands that, for the last 30 years, this volunteer-led charity has supported people around Kincardine and the Mearns who are coping with emotional, social or mental health difficulties; acknowledges that Pillar is entirely self funded and relies on donations and short-term grants to support rising demand; notes that it has had help from the local Men's Shed group and the town partnership to redecorate its new base in the former Stonehaven sheriff court building; hopes that this new home will help Pillar to continue providing this important service for people in the Kincardine area, and wishes everyone involved the very best in the future.
