Stephen Reid from Aboyne, Fundraising for his Sister

The motion

That the Parliament commends the efforts of Stephen Reid, who is from Aboyne, and his nine friends, on their aim to carry the Aboyne Games Caber from Glen Tanar to the summit of Munro Keen on 13 April 2019 to help raise funds for his sister, Nicola, who has a rare form of brittle bone disease, hypophosphatemia; understands that the money will be used to purchase an adapted vehicle and other necessary equipment that will allow Nicola to continue living independently and enjoy a good quality of life; sends its best wishes to her, and wishes Stephen and the team all the best for their challenge.
