The Big Dig 2019 in Paisley Awarded £53,900 by the National Lottery Heritage Fund
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Big Dig 2019 on receiving £53,900 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund; understands that the fund invests money raised by National Lottery players to lead and inspire the UK’s heritage, creating positive and lasting change for people and communities; recognises that The Big Dig 2019 is an eight-week archaeological dig from 21 May to 21 July that investigates Paisley’s medieval Abbey Drain, believed to be more than 700-years-old, and wishes everyone involved success with this investigation.
