Get2gether
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates get2gether in Edinburgh on receiving £145,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the group will use the funding to continue to deliver a range of social events in safe venues for disabled adults to help ensure that they live full lives; notes that four events will be offered each week, including at least one at low or no cost, and that a quarter of the events will be led by ambassadors who have lived experience of a disability; understands that the programme will be delivered to 800 people and involve 50 volunteers, and wishes everyone involved well in the forthcoming programme of events.
